POSSESSION of heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine and cannabis has landed a Reading man with a seven year sentence.

Leslie Small, was arrested on February 11, 2015 following a police search of his house.

The 47-year-old was convicted by unanimous jury at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, July 20, for possession of heroin with intent to supply.

Small, of Elm Park Road, admitted one count of possession of crack cocaine, one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of cannabis.

Investigating officer, detective constable Alistair Bagshaw, said: “Small is a persistent drug dealer who has been caught and convicted several times in the past.

“As the judge said, heroin is a vile and destructive drug that ruins relationships, individual potential and self-respect and I hope that this sentence will send a message to those who are involved in drug dealing, and those who are tempted or asked to become involved, that when you are caught, you will feel the full force of the law and spend a significant amount of time in prison.”
