A SELECTION of power tools were stolen from a car in Carnarvon Road, leading to the arrest of two Reading men.

The incident took place between 11.30pm on May 11 and 2.50am on May 12.

The unnamed men, who are 20 and 21 years-old, were released on bail until today.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information about the crimes to come forward.

Investigating officer PC Philip Lake, based at Loddon Valley Police Station said: "I would ask anyone who may have any information which they think could help our investigation into this incident to get in touch by calling the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
