Man charged with rape in Mortimer
A 24-year-old man has been charged with rape after an incident in Mortimer.
Christopher Ball, of West End Road, Mortimer Common, was arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in the West Berkshire village on Friday, June 17.
He was charged with the crime the following day and appeared in Reading Magistrates' Court.
The Farfield Park resident was detained in custody until his appearance in Reading Crown Court on Monday, July 18.
