THE WINDOW of a car was smashed when a man punched it on Monday June 6.
The man struck the silver Vauxhall Zafira at around 2.05pm following an altercation with the car's occupants in McDonald's car park off Oxford Road.
A 37 year-old man from Reading has since been arrested and released on bail until July 18.
One of the victims suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses for an incident of criminal damage.
Investigating officer, Det Con Maggie Bruce of Neighbourhood Policing team based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact me.
“If you have any information please contact me via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
