A BANK card belonging to a unnamed woman was stolen and used to withdraw cash at a Reading cash machine.

The 30 year-old victim was making a purchase in the Blagrave Arms pub between 12.30am and 1.30am on February 27.

A unknown man stood close to her as she entered her pin and later, when the victim was distracted, the offenders took her card.

The card was later used to withdraw money a nearby cash point.

Investigating Officer PC Mark Ferrey said: “I am appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed this theft or who can identify the people in these CCTV images, as we believe they might have vital information about the incident that can aid our investigation.

“If you have any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
