Police hunting three burglars after mother disturbs men during break in
A HUNT is underway for three burglars who were caught out trying to raid a home in Hemdean Road, Caversham.
The woman had returned to her house at around 2.45pm today when she disturbed the trio.
Officers from Thames Valley Police were quickly called to the scene and patrol cars and helicopters were dispatched as part of the search attempt.
The men remain on the loose.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 2.45pm to reports of a burglary in progress.
"We made searches to find the offenders, three males.
"No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing."
Residents are urged to call 111 if they have any information.
