BURGLARS are being hunted by police after jewellery was stolen fom a Tilehurst home.
The offenders forced open a window to a house in Kernham Drive and turned over the property, in what was described by police as an "untidy search".
They fled the scene having stolen a large amount of jewellery.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses of the incident, which happened between 6.30pm and 10pm on Friday November 20.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Andrea Parsons said: "We are keen to speak to anyone that may have been in the area and seen anything suspicious.
"Once inside the house offenders carried out an untidy search and stole a large amount of jewellery."
