POLICE are hunting a flasher who has been exposing himself to women after two recent incidents are thought to have been linked.

The first episode saw a man flash himself at a 26-year-old woman from a wooded area on the edge of Prospect Park, close to Honey End Lane.

The woman was walking towards Bath Road at around 9.30am last Thursday when she spotted the man who had pulled his trousers down to expose his groin while standing at the tree line.

He is described as white, in his fifties, about 5ft 8ins, of medium build and with grey hair.

A second exposure took place at around 3.30pm this Wednesday in front of a 33-year-old woman who was walking with her two children at the time.

As they passed through an alleyway between Norcot Road and Riley Road in Tilehurst a man loosened his belt to expose himself to the group.

Police believe this was the same man as the earlier exposure.

The second woman gave a similar description but believed the man to be 5ft 6ins tall.

He was wearing glasses, a brown jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes with white soles and a rucksack.

Investigating officer, PC Jack Waterfall, said: “These two offences are being linked because the description of the offender is extremely similar.

"If you recognise the description of the offender or have any other information about the offences then please contact police by either visiting your local police station or calling 101."
