Hundreds of beautiful flowers and perfect fruit and vegetables were presented at the 114th Caversham Allotment Holders and Gardens Association show.
The Caversham Hall, St John's Road, was also filled with cakes and chutneys as growers and chefs vied for the awards on offer.
The show attracted entries to more than 100 categories including those especially for children.
There were categories for association and non-association members including Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Gladioli and runner beans, tomatoes and beetroots, hobby crafts like photographs and needlework
John Schofield, association chairman, said they had a large number of visitors as well as the exhibitors on Saturday September 6.
He said: "There were many lovely flowers, fruit and vegetables on display including a large squash and a 'Top Table' of vegetables.
"Adult members showed a range of their cooking and hobbycraft capabilities while the children excelled with their displays which included a best dressed potato won by Zinnia Hodge and an animal made from a vegetable or fruit won by Luke Mullaney."
