Fire crews are currently at Caversham Park the home of the BBC in Berkshire, after reports of a blaze.
Five appliances were sent to the white brick building off Peppard Road, Caversham, around 6pm this evening.
An ambulance was also called to the house and left just before 7pm.
A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the alarm was raised at around 6pm and crews were at the scene.
The incident was believed to have happened in the BBC Berkshire studios.
A member of staff said: "A few puffs of smoke came out of the Radio Berkshire studios."
Caversham Park is also the home of the Monitoring Service.
