Man rescued from house fire
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a fire at a home in Liverpool Road last night.
A woman and three children safely escaped but were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen as a result of the householders cooking.
David Grayson, a firefighter from the Wokingham Road crew, said: "If we have one message for people it's just that as soon as a fire starts to get out of the house as soon as possible."
