A MASKED gang who filmed a teenager being pulled to the ground and kicked are being sought by police.

The teen was walking away from Reading town centre listening to his music, unaware he was being followed by three men.

One of the men pulled his headphones from his ears, whilst the others tugged his rucksack forcing him to the ground.

Two of the men took his rucksack away and started kicking the 17-year-old boy whilst he was on the ground.

The other man, who was wearing a dark hooded top over his face, filmed the attack on his mobile phone.

The group then made off from the underpass between the Oracle roundabout to Katesgrove Lane in Reading, leaving the boy on the floor.

The men took the 17-year-old's rucksack, which contained a designer wallet, football boots, a sum of cash and personal documents.

He sustained bruising to his body but he didn't require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Stuart Keys said the three men were roughly 20-years-old.

He said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a young man by a group of older men who not only assaulted the victim and robbed him of his possessions, but apparently filmed the ordeal on a mobile phone.

"The first offender, who was filming the incident, was approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, and was wearing a dark hooded top which was over his face.

"The second offender is of stocky build, taller than the first offender, and was wearing a dark hooded top with baggy jeans.
