How can an MP and Labour Councillors stand outside the Wantage Road post office, trying to save it, only for the Labour MP to vote against it in Parliament?

DESPITE the self-congratulatory letters (The Chronicle, March 6) from Labour Councillors on this year’s council tax charge, they hide the fact that this year they will raid the council reserves to pull off this political stunt, 'to facilitate fluctuations in net (2008-2009) expenditure’.
