H.R. Owen, the country’s leading luxury motor dealer has launched a new training academy. The company is looking for its next generation of sales executives to join the award winning team at H.R. Owen dealerships in Berkshire, Surrey and London, selling

the finest luxury cars.

H.R. Owen has been selling the world’s finest cars for over 80 years and is the world’s larges retailer of Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari brands.

From the outset the group has employed a team that lives up to its founder’s belief in the importance of customer service and this has driven the business forward, with great success, into its ninth decade.

Junior sales executive apprenticeship positions are available in Pangbourne, Byfleet and central London and a comprehensive training programme is in place to enable the new recruits to achieve a high level of sales acumen and to deliver world leading levels of customer service. The programme will introduce the fundamental dynamics of high impact professional sales behaviour, focusing in on how to achieve genuine customer collaboration as well as the practical skills to develop the assertiveness and confidence for influencing others. The programme is also designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and experience of the customer buying experience and the necessary skills to produce effective sales process capabilities.

The group is looking for tenacious and competitive individuals who have the attributes of honesty, integrity, attention to detail and an ability to engage with customers. Deep knowledge of the brands and the vehicles H.R. Owen sells is not a pre-requisite, but an interest and enthusiasm for cars is important.

The chosen candidates will support the sales team and management as a trainee ‘apprentice’ sales executive. In the role the recruit will be encouraged to develop and build on their knowledge of the range of vehicles and products sold, and keep abreast of competitor products. Also, it will be a requirement to maintain that paperwork and admin relating their own sales are carried out according to the dealership’s procedures and there will be opportunities to take part in on and off site promotional events which could include international motor shows and sporting events.
