Letter: Salter hypocrisy over post office vote

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

WHERE to now after post office sell out? After reading this story, it makes you want to spit.

How can an MP and Labour Councillors stand outside the Wantage Road post office, trying to save it, only for the Labour MP to vote against it in Parliament?

I feel sorry for the owner of the shop and the residents who go there. This is a sign of turning his back on the residents of this area.

Where can most of these people go for their pension? Northcot Road or Salisbury Road? They must be joking!

Going back to the headlines, 'Salter criticised’. How right this is. A complete sell-out.

And then they want you to vote for them. That’s the biggest laugh of the year.

Thank you Adam Hewitt. Good story.
