Cholsey get back on track
The Woodley side enjoyed good possession in the opening period of the game and deservedly took the lead thanks to James Pearson.
However, they suffered a setback in the 35th minute when Nigel Griffin received his marching orders, to leave his depleted side up against it.
Cholsey came out for the second half in determined mood and James Ham levelled the scores with a superb left footed drive and then bagged a second in similar fashion to put his side ahead.
Paul ‘The Pigeon’ Stacey took the score to 3-1 with a superb volley before Andy Allum wrapped up the points with a late effort.
A Danny Rolfe effort failed to prevent Theale from losing 3-1 at Shinfield RBL.
Division One West
In One West, third-placed Southbank had to settle for a point in a hard-fought, goalless encounter with County Arms.
Few chances were created by either side, but County keeper Wayne Adamson pulled off a couple of good saves to deny Southbank.
County midfielder Joe Mullen worked tirelessly throughout the contest and enjoyed an outstanding match.
Goring Utd suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at the hands of Kidmore End. Nick Anderson had levelled the scores for Goring after they fell behind early in the contest but Kidmore upped their game after the break to run out comfortable winners.
Division Two East
In Two East, a Cliff Moyise hat-trick was not enough to stop Loddon Valley Rangers from crashing to a 4-3 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Polish Social.
Chris Waring opened the scoring for Woodley Airfield in their 3-1 win over Purple Turtle. Man-of-the-match Daryl Lear and Simon Baines also found the back of the net.
Division Two West
Two West leaders Diamond Black took a step closer to the title after they netted twice in the last seven minutes to overcome Kennet Valley 4-3.
Trailing 1-0 at the interval Kennet fell further behind at the start of the second period.
But manager Alan Bonner rallied his troops and boosted his front line which led to instant success.
A double blast from Michael Davies levelled the scores while a Joe Bonner effort gave Kennet a 3-2 advantage with seven minutes left to play.
Black were forced to dig deep and bombarded the Kennet goal in search of the equaliser, which eventually fell to leading marksman Daniel Szutenberg.
And in the dying seconds he scored a brilliant winner, turning quickly to fire his shot into the top corner of the net to keep his side on course for the title.
Second-placed Victoria Arms were hammered 5-0 on their visit to Barton Rovers (res).
Barton coped much better with the heavy conditions and created numerous chances, although Victoria keeper Aaron Clark pulled off a series of fine saves to keep the scoreline respectable.
Fellow title hopefuls Oasis had their game with Tilehurst YM postponed and following their successful cup run will have to play nine games in 20 days to complete their programme.
Pangbourne failed to build on last weekend’s good win over Theale (res) as they crashed 7-1 at AFC Crowmarsh.
A terrific strike from Richard Jarvis gave Pangbourne some hope in an evenly-balanced first half but a second half collapse left the villagers floundering.
Liam Ridge worked tirelessly for Pangbourne with little reward.
Division Three East
In Three East, AFC Southfield’s title hopes suffered a major setback as they went down 3-1 at home to Wee Waif (Charvil).
Steve Grigg had given Southfield the early lead but Wee Waif levelled the scores before the break and added a second goal at the start of the second half.
Southfield keeper Jason Levy saved a penalty to keep his team in the game, but the pub side wrapped up the points with a late effort.
Division Three Central
Three Central promotion hopefuls Misfits (res) warmed up for their John Lusted Cup Final clash with Spread Eagle with a 2-1 victory in their league encounter. A double blast from Alex Hart settled the issue.
Division Four East

Miles Brown struck twice to set Twyford on their way while Sam Edgington added the third before Ben Fabianczk replied for Chalfont with a glancing header.
Division Four West
In Four West mid-table Westfield Athletic enjoyed an excellent 3-2 win over 116 Exiles (res).
Nathan Doe set them on the winning trail with Jamie Simmonds also finding the back of the net.
Westfield’s Ashley Doyle played superbly on the left side and was influential throughout the contest.
Cup Round-up
In the Treasurer’s Cup semi-finals YMCA Utd overcame Mapledurham Cavaliers (res) 2-0.
In a closely fought encounter Nick Renwick broke the deadlock shortly before the interval and then bagged his second goal midway through the second period to wrap up the tie.
Celtic Rangers join YMCA in the final after outgunning Calcot Lokomotiv 4-3 in a thrilling contest.
Celtic dominated the early period of the game and moved into a 3-1 lead.
But Calcot rallied and hit back to level the scores at 3-3 before conceding a penalty in the dying seconds.
Jose Riviero, Scott Fribence and Danny Miller were the Calcot marksmen on target and man-of-the-match was skipper Damina Glowacki who played with great authority.
