Where did it all go wrong for the Royals?

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

Fulham's 1-0 victory at Portsmouth condemned the Royals to the drop in a dramatic final day of the season as the Cottagers pulled off a remarkable Great Escape with their third straight win. Reading fans were left disraught at the final whistle and the recriminations have already started after a season that promised so much ended in disaster.

We want to hear from Reading fans on where you think it all went wrong for Steve Coppell's boys.

Did the team suffer from a lack of investment?

Were Coppell's last few signings good enough?

Should he have spent more money in the transfer window?

Did Coppell keep faith with some of his players for too long?

Can the Royals bounce back at the first attempt?

Is Coppell the man to lead them in the Championship?

Which players should go now?
