FEARS continue to grow for a Lambourn pensioner who went missing last week.

Wendy Macleod-Gilford, 69, was last seen at her home on Friday (18) morning, while her white Ford Scorpio car and a pile of women’s clothes were found at a lock in Little Wittenham, near Abingdon, later the same day.

Police are currently searching the area and are appealing for anyone who may have been walking in the area to contact them.

She is white, with grey hair tied in a bun, 5ft 6ins, of medium build and often wears glasses.

Contact police on 0845 8 505 505 with any information.
