Pensioner dies after road crash

A PENSIONER has died after being involved in road traffic collision this morning.

The 78-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Berkshire Hospital following the incident which took place on the A340 Tidmarsh Road at the junction with Bradfield Road near Theale just before 10am today.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnesses the collision or saw either the green Rover and black VW Passat before the incident to come forward.
