Market fun for children

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

APPLE-bobbing and other traditional activities will be among the attractions for children at a Halloween-themed community market.

The True Food Co-Op is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes local, organic, environmentally-friendly and Fairtrade products. It holds a regular market in All Saints Church Hall in Downshire Square, selling food and household goods.

Organiser Anne Pulsford said: “There will be seasonal games for the children, pumpkins and a variety of other locally grown squashes. The local markets make it easy to go green by promoting minimum packaging and low food miles.”

The Halloween special will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday. Visit www.truefood.coop or call 0845 330 8272.
