Missing: Miriam Ali

AN Asian woman missing for more than a fortnight is being urged to contact police.

Miriam Ali was last seen by her family at her home address in Redruth Gardens, Whitley, on September 29.

It is believed she was later in Reading town centre, but her family has not seen her since.

Miriam was last seen wearing a long, black Hajab and black shoes. She is of medium build, 5ft 4ins tall and has long black hair.

The 25-year-old has a stud in her nose and a mole on her left cheek.

PC Bob Phillips, Reading’s missing persons co-ordinator, said: “We are concerned about Miriam’s welfare as it is out of character for her not to stay in contact with her family.

“I appeal for anyone who may know of her whereabouts to contact me urgently.”

Anyone who knows of Miriam’s whereabouts, or Miriam herself, should contact Thames Valley Police through its enquiry centre on 08458 505 505, or call charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
