Gang attack in pub car park
A GANG beat up a man and stabbed him in the neck in a pub car park.
The unnamed 28-year-old man was attacked at around midnight on Sunday (5) as he sat in his car outside the Waggon and Horses Pub in High Street, Twyford.
A group kicked and punched him and dragged him out of his car before fleeing in another vehicle. The victim was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough but later released.
Police are trying to find out what weapon was used in the stabbing and are appealing for witnesses.
Det Insp Rodger Cartwright said: “The victim has been left with some nasty injuries as a result of this attack. Our investigation is at an early stage and we are following a number of lines of enquiry.
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the car park at the time or who has any information that may assist us with our investigation.”

* Two women (a 27-year-old and a 21-year-old) were arrested as part of the investigation and have been released on bail until Friday 24 October.
