A JUDGE, jury and barristers paid a visit to a Tilehurst pub today.

The entire cast of a Reading Crown Court trial, involving a number of defendants alleged to have been involved in a fight in March last year, went to to the car park of the Tylers Rest Harvester pub in Norcot Road at midday.

They travelled in a minibus and coach escorted by police.

Police spokesman Adam Fisher said: “The court visited the pub as part of setting the scene, and everybody connected with the case attended.”
