A BIKER was hurt in a crash on a stretch of road known as the 13 bends of death yesterday.

The 33-year-old man was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital with leg injuries after being involved in a collision with a van on the A4074 near The Oratory School in Woodcote.

Police want to hear from witnesses to the collision, which happened at 4.45pm and involved a black Kawasaki motorbike and a white Citroen panel van.

The van driver, a 49-year-old man, was unhurt.

Anyone who saw the collision or events leading up to it should contact PC Steve Marr via Thames Valley Police's enquiry centre on 08458 505 505, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
