A COUPLE were robbed in their home yesterday.

At about 8.30pm three people forced their way into a house in Benham Lane, Spencers Wood, and demanded cash.

The couple handed it over and the criminals fled on food along Basingstoke Road. Both victims suffered injuries to their head and face.

Det Sgt Carl Bradford of Loddon Valley CID, said: “I am hoping that someone saw these people, or perhaps a suspicious vehicle in the area last night.

“It was early evening at the time of the robbery so we’re hoping someone saw something and can help us find those responsible.”
