Taxi crash teen dies
THE teenager involved in a taxi crash at the weekend has died from his injuries.
The un-named 19-year-old had been a passenger in a silver taxi, but was badly injured in a collision at 2.10am last Saturday morning.
It happened in Chatteris Way in Lower Earley, but police are still trying to piece together the sequence of events.
The teen died at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford yesterday afternoon.
PC Andy Woodley, of Thames Valley Police, said: "If anyone believes they may have seen the Hackney carriage I would urge them to contact me.
"The vehicle was being driven by a 37-year-old local man."
