TPK graffiti artists hunted
'THOSE pesky kids' are thought to be behind graffiti plaguing Reading and Woodley.
Police have had 59 reports of the tag 'TPK’ springing up this year.
PC Katy Lucas, who is investigating the taggings, said: “This tag has appeared in large numbers, mainly in east Reading. However, there have also been reports in Oxford Road, and Winnersh and Woodley in the Wokingham police area.
“I am hopeful that someone will recognise the tag. Teachers and parents may have seen this scribbled across exercise books or pencil cases and I would encourage anyone with any information to contact me urgently.
“Tags can really affect the appearance of an area and it is important that we catch those who are responsible for this blight.”
She said TPK is thought to stand for 'those pesky kids’.
Anyone with information should contact PC Lucas via 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
*The TPK tag has appeared in Donnington Road, London Road, Alexandra Road, Erleigh Road, Mount Pleasant, Basingstoke Road, Silver Street, Brayford Road, The Butts, Oxford Road, Broomfield Road, King’s Road, Wokingham Road, Reading University’s Whiteknights campus, Christchurch Road (all Reading), Crockhamwell Road (Woodley), Arbour Lane and Woodward Close in Winnersh, and Old Forest Road (Wokingham).
