Katesgrove residents fight crime
RESIDENTS are meeting to try and tackle crime in the community.
Katesgrove Neighbourhood Action Group is carrying out a survey to find out what the area’s worst problems are.
Chairwoman Kath Langdale said: “We are reviewing the crime priorities and we are also looking at starting a newsletter so what we are working on can be fed back to the community.”
The group is made up of residents, representatives from the council and local businesses and the Katesgrove police team.
It meets regularly to discuss concerns and also carry out surveys of the area to spot vandalism or other problems.
