A WOMAN was pushed to the ground and robbed in broad daylight by two teenage boys while walking her dog.

The 38-year-old was left "extremely traumatised" after the attack while she was walking near South Lake in Kingfisher Drive, Woodley. at 7pm on Sunday.

The teenagers pushed her to the ground and snatched her bag - which contained treats for her dog as well as other items - before running off along the footpath at the back of the Thatchers Tavern.

The attackers were white, aged 15-17, medium build, 5ft 7ins tall and wore black hoodies and blue jeans.

The bag they stole had a silver handle and had the letters YFL on it.

Det Sgt Carl Bradford of Loddon Valley CID said: "This vulnerable woman was robbed in a busy area while out walking her dog, at a time when it is likely that there may have been other members of the public present.

"The woman has been left extremely traumatised by this attack.

"If anyone was in the area and saw these two youths, or anything suspicious, please contact police urgently."

Contact Det Sgt Bradford through the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 850 5505.
