Last chance to sign up for Race for Life
SPRINT to take part in this year’s Cancer Research Race for Life in Prospect Park, Southcote, on Sunday.
The last date for entries is tomorrow (Tuesday) [8] at midnight.
The 11am race is already fully booked and there are only a few places left for the 4pm one.
Already 5,600 women have registered to walk, jog or run the 5k course to raise money to research and fight cancer.
Organiser Rosannah Dawood said: “It is such an inspiring and emotional day where women of all ages and abilities come together to make a real difference.
“I’m confident that every one of the remaining places will be filled and urge any women who would still like to enter to do so now.”

Cancer Research UK is also recruiting people with breast, lung or prostate cancer in Reading for a clinical trial investigating the best way to relieve pain in patients whose cancer has spread to their bones. It will compare the standard treatment of radiotherapy with drug treatment, to see which is more effective. Visit Cancer Research UK’s website, www.cancerresearchuk.org
