Gin's the tonic for Wag & Bone
By Lucy Crossley
THE furry finalist of top telly contest Britain’s Got Talent will be making a guest appearance at The Wag & Bone Show.
Some 12 million viewers watched Border Collie Gin and her owner Kate Nicholas dance their way into the final of the ITV talent search thanks to a magnificent freestyle routine.
Now the pair, who even managed to melt Simon Cowell’s heart of stone, will be wowing fans in the Main Ring at The Wag & Bone Show in Windsor Great Park on Saturday, August 2.
Kate, 16, said: “We love working together and think it is important for dogs to be trained to behave properly.
“Hopefully our appearance on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ has shown people what fun it can be.”
After Kate and Gin have finished performing there will be a Q&A session where fans can meet Kate and her six-year-old prancing pooch and find out more about their rise to stardom.
Sponsored by Purina PetCare, The Wag & Bone Show gives dog owners the chance to enjoy a day out with their favourite four-legged friends and seven major animal charities will share all proceeds from the show.
Kate said: “We are really looking forward to appearing at The Wag & Bone Show – it should be a great day for everyone and fantastic that we will all be raising money for such good causes.”
