An artists' impression of the motorcyclist police are looking for.
TWO men arrested on Thursday in connection with the shooting of Caversham father-of-two Stuart Purser have this morning been released.
A 27-year-old Reading man held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder was released without charge.
A 24-year-old Basingstoke man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply was released on bail, to return to Maidenhead police station on July 10.
Stuart, 26, was shot in the face at point blank range on the doorstep of his home in Mead Close on May 5.
He survived and is making a good recovery from his injuries, and now police are hunting for a motorcyclist seen in Mead Close for up to five hours before the shooting, which happened at 9.30pm.
The man in charge of the case, Det Insp Mick Saunders, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone with information about this incident, whether it is in connection with the identity of the motorcyclist or the artist’s impression, it is important that you contact police.”
