Young man punched for iPod
MUGGERS punched a young man in the face and stole his iPod and wallet.
The 22-year-old from Reading was walking along Palmerstone Road, Earley, listening to music when three men came up behind him.
One of the men, described as being white, 5ft 11ins - 6ft tall, clean shaven, aged 20-25 and wearing a white T-shirt, punched him in the face, cutting his top lip, which needed stitches. There are no descriptions of the other men.
The incident happened at 12.31am last Thursday.
PC Stuart Keys, of Loddon Valley CID, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was in this area of Earley in the early hours of Thursday or anyone who saw three men acting suspiciously in the area.
“We are carrying out house to house inquiries in the area and posting witness leaflets through doors.”
