Men arrested over shooting released

TWO men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was shot in the head have been released without charge.

A 28-year-old Tilehurst man was arrested on Monday afternoon and released today on bail, to appear at Maidenhead Police Station on June 5.

A 27-year-old Reading man who was arrested on Monday morning was also released on bail today, to appear at Maidenhead Police Station on June 5 in connection with an unrelated drugs offence.

The 26-year-old victim, who was shot in Mead Close, Caversham on bank holiday Monday, May 5, is still in a stable condition in hospital.
