Arrest following town centre assault

A 37-year-old man has been arrested following an assault outside a Reading bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two men, a 29-year-old and a 21 year old were assaulted by another man oustide Bamboo Bar, Station Hill, at around 4am.

Investigating officer detective sergeant Ali Driver, said: “The injured men were taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital where they received treatment for their injuries. They have since been released from the hospital. I am appealing for any witnesses who saw the assault or have information about the incident to come forward.”
