Former corporal's Valour offer
Peter Hayward.
A FORMER RAF corporal has stepped up to join Value for Valour by offering discounts at his chiropractic clinic.
Peter Hayward knows what it’s like to be running all day on exercise or trudging around in thick shoes after serving 10 years in the RAF.
Mr Hayward now runs Crowthorne Chiropody Clinic and is offering the chance for anyone with an MOD90 card to get 20% discount on treatment.
Value for Valour is a chance to offer a thanks and some worth to the men and women in the armed forces who can spend months away in war zones or on operation.
Value for Valour offers them a chance to relax and help the re-settlement back into 'normal’ life in Berkshire.
He said: “I’m ex-forces and I, just like most people, am appalled at the treatment they are getting, or not getting. They are coming back and not getting on as well as they should be.”
Officers and soldiers are often away on exercise or training which can involve rigorous amounts of running in boots which can create blisters. Mr Hayward said: “I do get patients from Bracknell and Sandhurst. I want to help all I can.”
MOD90 card holders can visit Mr Hayward at The Crowthorne Chiropody Clinic, 229b High Street, Crowthorne.
