ANOTHER business is getting behind our armed forces by backing The Chronicle’s Value for Valour campaign.

Jako Interiors in Broad Street Mall has signed up to offer a discount to all MOD 90 card holders.

John Jackson, of Jako Interiors, said: “I think the armed forces feel unappreciated, they are doing a difficult job in difficult circumstances, am I am more than happy being a retailer in Reading to support them in anyway.

“Everybody in the country is aware of the conflict that is going on in Afghanistan and Iraq, and you read about how the morale is quite low. I think the public does support the troops but anything that can be done to raise public awareness and increase support for the armed forces is a good thing.”

Jako Interiors sells “designer Italian styled furniture at very good and affordable prices”.

Value for Valour is the Chronicle’s campaign to encourage leisure providers and businesses across Berkshire to offer discounts and special offers to men and women from the armed forces returning from combat zones overseas.

When mentioning The Chronicle’s Value for Valour campaign, members of the armed forces can get 15% off, on production of a valid MOD 90 card, at Jako Interiors stores in Reading and Hastings, and online at www.jakointeriors.com
