NORRIS Doreen Formerly of Hildens Drive. Peacefully passed away following a short illness on 3rd August at Holly Grange Care Home Thatcham aged 92. Now reunited with her beloved Husband Frederick. A loving and devoted Mother to Linda, Mother-in-law to Graham and Proud Grandma of Simon and Joanne. Greatly missed by family and friends. Always in our thoughts. Doreen was a former Lunchtime controller at Birch Copse Primary School 1967 1987, and former member of Prospect Park Bowls Club 1998 - 2002. Doreen had a zest for life, a happy soul who enjoyed working with children, helping to reassure anxious school children, found happiness through helping others. Cortsetting off from Hildens Drive at 11.00. Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Doreen will take place at St. Michael's Church, New Lane Hill, Tilehurst, RG30 4JX on Thursday 24th August 2017 at 11:15am followed by Committal at Reading Crematorium West Chapel, All Hallows Rd, Reading RG4 5LP. All welcome, no requirement to wear black.
