Thames Valley Police have released an appeal to find a 23-year-old man in connection with a burglary.

Waheed Amodu, 23, has been described as 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and is known to frequent Newbury in West Berkshire as well as Didcot and Oxford.

The investigation into the robbery that took place in Market Place, Dicot at around 12.30pm on 15 April is currently ongoing.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Thomas Pill, of the South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse Priority Crime Team, said: “If you see Amodu, do not approach him and call 999 instead. If you know where he is or may have seen him, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240121510.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
